Deutsches Forum für Figurentheater und Puppenspielkunst

The Deutsches Forum für Figurentheater und Puppenspielkunst (dfp) is a non-profit association based in Bochum, dedicated to promoting and advancing the art of puppetry and figure theater. The dfp serves as a network for artists, institutions, and individuals interested in the field. It organizes the international puppet theater festival FIDENA and the Fritz Wortelmann Prize of the City of Bochum. The association also operates a documentation center with a specialized library, media center, and archive. It offers the "Researcher in Residence" fellowship, publishes current reviews, podcasts, and news, and produces the specialized magazine "double", which is published by the Theater der Zeit publishing house.
